- Fresh turkeys are available for a limited period for Christmas delivery, or the same premium quality birds are available frozen for the rest of the year
Size, Storage and Cooking Guidance:
Fresh turkeys are best stored at 4°C or below.  For frozen turkeys, defrost thoroughly before cooking.
Treat a crown exactly as you would a whole bird. You can sit the crown on a bed of stuffing or push flavoured butter under the skin. Or, cover it in strips of Blythburgh free range bacon or herbs and butter before cooking. Weigh it with any stuffings before calculating cooking times. Turkey crowns come with the giblets so your gravy can be still made the traditional way.
