A real fishing success story, hake in both the Northern North sea and Celtic sea are incredibly sustainable populations and accredited by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). A member of the cod family, they are a delicious white fish alternative and take Mediterranean flavours especially well. Frying, baking or steaming are the traditional methods for this very responsibly caught species.
Please note that pack sizes may vary from 1 or 2 pieces depending on size of fish filleted.
May contain small bones
Try hake, bacon and potato bake. The recipe is easy and a very hearty dish for all seasons.
