Monkfish, at one time the source of alternative ‘scampi’, are now a premium fish in their own right.
A sweet flavour, robust texture, boneless and incredibly versatile, Monkfish fillets can be pan fried, stir fried, baked, curried or battered. A fish which takes favours really well and is ideal for rubs and marinades.
Please note that pack sizes may vary from 1 or 2 pieces depending on size of fish filleted.

Wrap two fillets together in pancetta or Parma ham, smother with pesto, wrap in pastry and then oven bake for the perfect ‘monkfish en croûte’
