Quail exist as game birds throughout the world, but the European quail are very rare in the UK and they only visit in small numbers in the summer to breed. So as wild quail are not available in the UK, we are pleased to supply farmed quail instead.

Quail are very small but very delicate in texture and flavour; they could even be described as succulent. At least one is required per person and, according to indiviual appetites, two may be needed.

Cook like a mini chicken roast. No longer than 15 minutes.
