The delicious deep flavour of our hot smoked mackerel is produced by lightly brining and then kiln smoking plump mackerel fillets over oak chippings and sawdust. Our local fishmongers select their beautiful fish from trusted Scottish fishermen before preparing and smoking them in their Suffolk smokehouse.
As nutritious as they are delicious, our smoked mackerel are a superb choice for quick and healthy lunches or suppers.
Serve with salads or blend into a tasty pâté with cream cheese
