Bottle Capacity

This Swisscave wine cooler, is equipped with a mix of Burgundy and Bordeaux shelves. The WLB460DFLD houses 13 shelves (including 6 display shelf) and a large capacity allowing for storage of up to 134 bottles when all display shelves are in use for mixed bottles, or 168 Bordeaux bottles when all shelves are laid flat and finally a huge 200 Bordeaux bottles with some shelves removed. Larger bottles such as magnums and Burgundy bottles will also fit comfortably in the cabinet however storage of these bottle types will reduce overall capacity. Display shelves hold 5-6 bottles at an inclined angle with additional space for 9-14 bottles behind those bottles on display.

Installation of the WLB460DFLD-MIX

This premium edition Swisscave is suitable for use as both a freestanding and built in wine cabinet. The unit features front ventilation and can therefore be placed into cabinetry. When fitted into cabinetry it’s advisable to maintain a gap of 1cm / 10mm at the rear of the black wine fridge. In addition, there is also a small overhang on all Swisscave wine coolers of approximately 1.5cm / 15mm which should be considered if the wine cooler is installed flush with adjacent cabinetry.
